22 STATION ROAD, CB1, CAMBRIDGE FULLY LET

Following the signing of Law Firm Slater and Gordon

Mixed-use development specialist Brookgate has announced that award-winning law firm Slater and Gordon will locate to 22 Station Road at the heart of CB1, the vibrant new city quarter being developed around Cambridge station. The significant deal means the new 64,800 sq ft five-storey office building is now fully let; within weeks of completion and marking a key milestone in the CB1 masterplan.

Slater and Gordon will occupy part of the fourth floor taking 5,400 sq ft on a ten-year lease.  They will be joining Mott MacDonald which has previously signed up for a 44,500 sq ft office on a 25-year lease and Birketts Solicitors which has taken 15,000 sq ft of office space on a 20-year lease. 22 Station Road, delivered by main contractor Wates Construction, forms part of CB1, a significant mixed-use project which includes a major business district centred around Station Road.

Sven Töpel, Chief Executive of Brookgate said: “We are pleased to welcome Slater and Gordon to this thriving business community at CB1.  The high level of interest in 22 Station Road, resulting in the building being fully let, within weeks of completion, highlights the attractiveness of both CB1 and Cambridge to market-leading companies.”

22 Station Road is a key component of CB1, a brand new city quarter which offers new homes, business space, shopping and leisure, in a contemporary and well-managed environment.

Brookgate was advised by Bidwells and Savills.
